She was trained by the founder of Epicuren®, Dr, Robert Hyman , so as to attain the utmost knowledge of the products, and the philosophy that inspired their creation,and is now one of there leading experts in Epicuren® facials and skin care products. Selby has combined this education with five years of experience providing spa facials and body treatments at the world class Ojai Vally Inn and Spa.

Selby is a native californian and fifth generation of ventura , and grew up skateboarding , surfing and skiing. She comprehends first hand the ravaging effects of sun exposure.

Her focus has been researching ways to undo this damage, and provide solid advise about sun prevention, and general care for sun exposed skin. She also spent several years traveling as a wardrobe stylist, in los Angels, New York, and london, working with a celebrity base she learned how to manage climate, and fatigue induced skin conditions with " tricks of the trade" which she employs in her practice to this day.

She has chosen to share her years of training and knowledge by performing what has been considered by her long term clients as minor miracles. She is deeply committed to the needs of california sun exposed skin, and offers diet and hygiene tips for clear, hydrated complexions to adults and teens.Selby likens her boutique approach to a 'skin parlor'' , old fashion in the best of ways, but with a modern apothecary,and skin care system, that results in a flawless complexion and rejuvenated spirt.
